About GameHub

GameHub is a free online game portal. Every game runs in your browser — there is nothing to download, nothing to install and no account to create. You open a page, press play, and you are in the game.

What we do

We curate browser games and give each one a proper page: what the game is, how it plays, which keys or gestures control it, and what tends to trip new players up. A lot of game sites are a wall of thumbnails with no context. We would rather have fewer games and explain each of them properly.

Some of the games here we build ourselves. Others come from developers and distribution partners who license their work for embedding. In both cases we write our own descriptions and instructions rather than reusing whatever text came with the game.

How games get onto the site

Every game is checked on both desktop and mobile before it goes live. We look at load time, whether touch controls actually work, and whether the game does anything unexpected like opening pop-ups. Games that fail those checks do not get published, and games that break later get taken down rather than left as dead pages.

Who this is for

People with five spare minutes, mostly. There is no progression system to maintain, no daily login to miss and no social graph to manage. Come back when you feel like it.
