GameHub

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-08

This policy explains what GameHub collects, why, and what control you have over it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

What we collect

We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or any other identifying information to play games.

  • Anonymous usage data. A random identifier is stored in your browser so we can count how many people play a game and how long a typical session lasts. It is not linked to your identity and we do not store your IP address in plain text โ€” only a two-letter country code.
  • Local preferences. Your theme choice, volume setting, favourites and high scores are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you sign in to an account in a future version of the site.

Cookies and similar technologies

We group cookies into three categories:

  • Necessary โ€” required for the site to work. Always on.
  • Analytics โ€” helps us see which games people actually play. Optional.
  • Advertising โ€” used by third-party ad partners. Optional.

You choose when you first visit, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. If you decline analytics and advertising cookies, we do not load those scripts at all โ€” not a limited version of them.

Third-party advertising

When advertising is enabled and you have consented, third-party vendors โ€” including Google โ€” may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.

Embedded games

Some games are hosted by partners and run inside a sandboxed frame on our pages. Those games are served from the partner's own domain and may set their own cookies under that domain. They cannot read anything stored under GameHub. Where a game is identified as directed at children, we request non-personalised advertising only.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have the right to access, correct or delete data relating to you, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because our analytics identifier is anonymous and stored on your device, clearing your browser data removes it entirely. For anything else, email contact@gamehub.com.

California residents (CCPA)

We do not sell personal information in the conventional sense. To opt out of personalised advertising, decline advertising cookies in the consent banner or use the Google Ads Settings link above.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes. Material changes will be flagged on the site itself.
